Felix is a naive type of child because when he was going to escape the orphanage Jankiel stopped him right before he was going to open the gate and said “I can’t tell you what they are doing because Mother Minka made me swear on the bible that I wouldn’t tell anyone. She doesn’t want everyone upset and worried.” Felix then says “Thanks but I know what they are doing they are burning books.” I mentioned that because that’s not all that they are doing. Felix does not know that the Nazis are telling Jews that they’re going to the country side but the actually get killed.
When Felix found a house he went inside and put on clothes and ate some of the owners food. When he finished eating he heard gunshots and said ” They must be out hunting” He also says ” I set along off along the road to the gunshots.” Felix doesn’t know that it’s the Nazis that are doing the shooting and they’re not shooting rabbits they are shooting Jews.
Felix is a naive type of child because when he saves Zelda from a burning house and she starts crying for her Mummy and Daddy Felix didn’t tell her that she needed to be quiet because the Nazis will hear her because that would make her scared so he said ” Shhhh we will wake the sheep.” It was pretty obvious that there was no sheep because Nazis were everywhere and the air was polluted with gun smoke so the sheep couldn’t live here because they would be in the city
Felix is a naive type of child because when him and Zelda were walking and they saw naked people and Nazi soldiers were pointing guns at them, Zelda ask Felix ” What are they doing and Zelda says ” Maybe a gorilla really has escaped.” Zelda wouldn’t have thought about that if it wasn’t for Felix but it is a good thing that Zelda didn’t know that the naked people were going to get shot.
Introduction: I think the meaning of the question “What kind of child is Felix.” Is that I have to describe Felix’s personality and how he is. I will answer the question by using quotations from the book “Once”. I will also use my own words.
Conclusion: In this essay I managed to describe what kind of child is Felix? By using quotations from the book “Once” and using my own words. I learned that Felix is naive because he does silly things but sometimes the silly things he does makes a good thing, when Felix escaped the orphanage that was a silly thing but he ended up saving Zelda from a burning house which is a good thing. You learn more the further you go.

This essay was very well written Dajune I like the use of quotes in it. You made it very clear on whats happening in the story and I like that. I also like how you described Felix very well how he is naïve and why he is that by using quotes. I really enjoyed the essay and I know other people will aswell so keep it up.

Your introduction should go at the front of the essay and the conclusion needs to go at the end. There is no need to label them “Introduction” and “Conclusion”, the audience will figure this out.
Do you really think that Felix’s naivety is ALL there is to him? The paragraphs make and evidence the same point over and over again, which seems not to test the limits of the question. Just a thought.
